Expo 2017 – Energy for All

Posted on Apr 16, 2017

As time goes on, more and more people are paying attention to the upcoming Expo 2017 in Astana. Expo 2017, dedicated to “energy of the future” and the world of technology, is of special interest as the Catholic Church will be participating in this event. Expo 2017 concerns “our common home”, the life, cares, concerns, and expectations of the future we all share. This affects all of us, including the Church. The world is currently facing numerous problems in the world of energy. This problem goes far beyond the need to create “clean energy”. How can we go about using, developing and innovating new technology to solve the issues we face today for the sake of a brighter, cleaner tomorrow? Expo 2017 will have global ramifications, as the problems that will be discussed at this event pertain to every country on earth. Caritas will occupy its own space in the Vatican pavilion to share our achievments and what we would like to accomplish here in Kazakhstan.
